Nice Côte d'Azur Airport, located 25km from the Grimaldi Forum, is the main gateway to Monaco. ​

Direct flights from key cities in Europe, the Middle East, and North America are available via airlines like Air France, Lufthansa, and easyJet, and more. For connecting flights, Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Paris Orly (ORY) provide frequent connections to Nice, with Air France operating multiple daily flights (1h30 duration). The most economical travel option: Line 80 shuttle service​.

The Line 80 (Zou line) bus service connects Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (Terminal 2) to Monaco and ​continues onward to Menton, passing through Roquebrune and Saint Jean Cap Ferrat.​

3. Nice and Monaco train stations

How to get from Nice airport to Nice train stations

Tramway Line 2 (Zou line) connects Nice Côte d'Azur airport to Nice Ville train station (Nice city center).
Travel time is 39 minutes​.

  • Take Tram Line 2 in the direction of 'Port Lympia’​
  • Stop at ‘Jean Médecin’
    (200m walk from the train station)​

Tramway Line 2 also connects the airport to Nice Riquier Train Station. ​

  • Take Tram Line 2 in the direction of 'Port Lympia’​
  • Stop at ‘Port Lympia’​
  • Take the bus line 07 in the direction of ‘Ariane / Général Saramito’​
  • Stop at ’Riquier’

How to get from Nice train station to Monaco train station


Both Nice Ville* and Nice Riquier** train stations offer regular TER services to Monaco-Monte-Carlo train station (20 min ride). ​

Trains depart approximately every 15 minutes from both stations.

Getting from Monaco train station to Grimaldi Forum:

  • Walking: Around 20 minutes​
  • Bus (Lines 12/13/18/24): 16 minutes​
  • Taxi: 6 minutes​
